What is the Current Ratio of a Stock?

Image
What is the Current Ratio of a Stock? Welcome to our short [What is the Current Ratio of a Stock?] video 🎥 where we'll be diving into an important financial metric - the current ratio of a stock. This ratio is used to measure a company's ability to pay off its short-term debts with its current assets. Calculating the current ratio is simple, just divide the company's current assets by its current liabilities. These assets include cash, inventory, and accounts receivable, while liabilities consist of short-term debts and accounts payable. A healthy current ratio for a company is typically above 1, indicating that they have enough assets to cover their debts. A high current ratio can be a sign of strong financial management, while a low one can indicate potential issues with paying off debts. Keep in mind that the ideal ratio varies by industry, so it's important to compare a company's ratio to others in the same sector. As with any investment decision, it's cru...

Trading Trump’s Trade War Our theme for this [Trading Trump’s Trade War] video 🎥 is 'how can we make money trading Trump's trade war' and I've got some interesting links to share with you. Today, we'll be taking a look at various tariff charts that I have found useful in understanding the tariffs announced by Trump. You can also read these articles that I've referenced for further analysis. The first one is the most common, with the infamous placard that Trump showed, displaying the discounted reciprocal tariffs for each country. However, upon further analysis, it seems that this chart is more representative of the trade deficit rather than the actual tariffs charged. You can see that China, Vietnam, Japan, India, South Korea, and many others are on this list. Moving on, I have another list from CBS news, which is also quite useful. This chart sorts the countries by their reciprocal tariffs, with the highest being at the top. Here, we can see that Thailand and...
